Patti Mallen, CCE
Hello. I’m the P in “D and P”. As a professional Certified Color Consultant, Stager and Redesigner I have invested in extensive education and intensive training through HSR to ensure fabulous results every time. Through various trade memberships and organizations such as ASHSR and RESA, I have access to all of the resources that allow me to bring the best quality and most up-to-date expertise and accessories to you. I have more than 30 years of experience in just about every aspect of real estate. I come from a creative family, my father was a house painter and musician. My mother was a master gardener. I grew up believing that creativity was the oxygen of life. Your home should be an expression of your soul. If you are selling your home, it should be a canvass upon which others can envision their dreams. I can help you make that a reality. Together we can work with what you already have to maximize the potential of your space. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or are super busy doing other things you love, I can help. Call or email today and let’s get started!
David Mallen, Photographer
David has been a graphic artist and second-generation photographer for most of his career. He has a keen eye for design and produces clean, beautiful projects. He has designed iPhone Apps, Websites, and magazine layouts and has worked for companies such as Apple, the University of Texas, and Patagonia. While attending Full Sail University, he really honed his photography and video skills. Since 95% of buyers look at images online prior to scheduling a home tour, you only get one chance to make a first impression. David can ensure your home is portrayed in the best possible light.
D & P: We, D and P (yes our friends really call us that!) met at a wine tasting party in Santa Barbara on Friday the 13, 1996. What a lucky day! It was love at first sight and two years later we were married on the family deck of David’s parent’s home. When we bought our first home, we went to work on it right away, painting, remodeling, landscaping, pouring our creativity into every room. We even created an adorable guest room in the garage (this was pre-AirBnB). David took the photos, we scheduled an open house, created an ad and the rest is history. It sold within 5 minutes, the first buyer who saw it fell in love. It never even hit the MLS. In 2020 we decided to move to Austin, Texas to be near family and start our home staging business. We love the country charm, the outdoor adventures, the colorful city life, and most of all, the friendly people. Austin really has it all and we couldn’t be happier to be part of this great community. We can’t wait to meet you!
